A Yorkie Bichon mix may sound a bit strange at first, but with so many cross bred dogs popping up - both intentional and unintentional - there’s in reality nothing incredible regarding a Yorkie Bichon mix dog cropping up over time. What this means for impending dog owners, is something totally different of course.
If you’re looking at getting a Yorkie Bichon mix puppy but are undecided whether you would like one, and much more importantly are unsure what the mixed puppy will finish up like, well, there’s only one thing to say: you’re not on your own. No one could precisely predict what a mixed breed dog will turn out to be like, and this really is correct in all cases of mixed breed, or cross bred dogs.
To state the obvious, there’s a possibility the dogs can become predominantly similar to their Yorkie father/mother, or like their Bichon Frise mother/father. Nothing like the Puggle mixed breed dog, for the Yorkie Bichon mix to be considered pure, the parents don't have to be specifically of one breed, i.e. you do not need to have a Bichon Frise mother and a Yorkie father, or vice versa. It may be either mix, as long as the parents themselves are pure bred dogs.

Since no one dog breeder will necessarily have all the lineage of a dog going back hundreds of years, it could be hard to know the truth for certain whether the origin of the parents themselves have been cross bred at any point in time. Every now and then genetic qualities may well conceal themselves for a number of generations, and may well instead choose to turn up at this point when the dog breeders are going to cross breed the dogs.
The resultant dog could be the cutest things you have ever seen, or it may be a mixture of odds and ends. This however is incredibly rare in good breeding programs, and if you want the perfect Yorkie Bichon mix then probably you'll get a great combination of a Yorkie Bichon mix.
What then will be the qualities of such a dog, never mind the features of your dog? Well, unfortunately that also is just not as simple to tell in advance and nearly all owners will have to wait to see what their Yorkie Bichon mix puppy grows up into: a predominantly Yorkie mix dog, or a predominantly Bichon mix dog. Whatever you do finish up with though, you will be assured that you will have a loving and affectionate dog who is incredibly loyal to you, and you in reality couldn't ask for any more than that can you? If you're looking for a dog which has a large personality in a cute small bundle you'd need to go a long way to find a better choice than a Yorkie Bichon mix.
