Animal Cruelty

Animal Cruelty is the way of nature. Let me explain... The nature is designed that way. First I will be talking about the cruelty of animals, not as eating animals. In my understanding the animal cruelty is when people are beating up animals, treat them bad, throw them out on the streets. For some reasons I've seen on the street only the old dogs and cats. When I see an old dog on the street, it tickles my nerve. As people say, dog is a man's best friend. And it's true, I had several for many years unfortunately they died, but the point is that I understand that dogs are very loyal. When dogs get old people don't want to take care of them and spend time with them. Dogs are like humans, they understand everything. For example, I have personally seen a trainer beat on a dog because they simply wanted to play and do what was told by the owner. No way, in this case or any case don't beat a dog. Don't beat any animal.
Many farms as we call these days for animals are over loader. Animals are staying in cages. For example, gees or a chicken are locked up in the cage and no room to run around. Basically they are in the life time jail. Imagine this, a human is born and from the first day they get locked p in jail for life. People, how good is that.
Do you know that humans are animals too. All animals have the instinct for a survival. But humans, I don't think there is one out there. Most people live for their own good. They kill animals to wear. think of the fast the kids in Africa have nothing to eat... That extra food that people buy, then throw it away because it was in the fridge for too long and went bad.
We all animals in a way. "Respect your own and help out others. Live in harmony..."

Kangaroo

Kangaroo means , the large foot. Kangaroos live in the content of Australia. There are 63 species of kangaroo. The largest kangaroo are in the Macropus genes. They are: The red kangaroo, antilopine kangaroo, Eastern and Western kangaroo.
Kangaroo has powerful legs, it stands upright like humans, but leaps as a frog. Kangaroo also has a powerful tale that they use for balance. The Red kangaroo leaps at a speed of 13 to 16 miles per hour. when they need to run fast, they can speed up to 44 miles per hour. Only for shorter distances. At a speed of 25 miles per hour kangaroos can run or two kilometers. And the life span of kangaroos is four to 6 years.

Armadillo

Armadillos are mammals. There are 20 different species of Armadillo in the family. Usually they are around moist soils, dry creeks, rivers, and streams. Armadillos have very sharp claws and with the claws they dig for food. They are diggers. Armadillos live under ground. There are very small armadillos that only grow 4 to 5 inches in length. There are giant armadillos that grow up to 5 feet and weight in 130 pounds. The word armadillo itself came form Spanish, the translation would be: little armored one. As you know that armadillos have the leather shell to protect them selves from predators.

Crocodile

As it says crocodiles are over 200 million years old. Dinosaurs are 65 million year extinct. This reptilians live in the fresh waters like lakes, rivers, wet lands, and sometimes in brackish waters. But some of the crocodile species live in the salt waters.

In 1957 the largest salt water crocodile was shot in Australia that was 28 feet in length and weighted 2,980 pounds. Crocodile's bite force is 5,000 pounds per square inch. Great white shark's bite force is 800 pounds/ square inch. The hyena's bite force is 1,000 pounds.
Crocodiles are striking for their prey from the water, they jump out of the water like lightening tearing and holding the flash of their prey.

Gray Wolf

Gray wolfs are largest members of Canidae family. They are found in forests, deserts, mountains, glassland, tundra, and taiga. The biggest Gray Wolf that was recorder in Ukraine weights 189 pounds. In length Gray can grow anywhere from 1.3 meters up to 2 metre in length from tip of the nose to end of the tail. Usually females are 20% less than male wolfs.
Wolfs are vicious dogs, they hunt for their food. They also very fast and in the hunt one female Gray wolf was recorded to have 7 metre bound. Imagine that, that's only a female, but male wolf hunt too. Wouldn't want to meet one on my way. Almost 200 pounds killing machine, that's just waiting for the prier to show up.

Camel

There are six like creatures in the Camelus family. They are llama, alpaca, guanaco, vicuna, and two most known are Arabian Camel and Bactrian Camel. Arabians camels have only one hump. Bactrian camel has two humps, but the other aimals in Camelus family do not have any humps. Arabian camels are also know for the low fat milk that they produce.
Fully grown adult camel is measured at 6'1 inches in height at the shoulder length. Usually the hump grows out of the body 30 inches. Measuring from the ground up to hump camels are 7 feet and 1 inch. Camels live from 40 to 50 years. Camels can run relatively fast from 40 miles per hour at bursts and on the avarage 25 miles per hour. Camels are used for many purposes: Caravans, Military in the desert, and moving heay things from one place to another.

Bear

There are only living species of bear. bears are found in continents of South America, North America, Asia, and Europe.
Bears have large body, stocky legs, long snout, shaggy hair, 5 claws and short tail.
Polar bears are carnivorous, they are the meat eaters. Giant Pandas are eats bamboo, and other six species are omnivorous, they eat everything, plants and meat. Bear are very large and they seem very slow, but in live bears are very fast runners. They cam run up to 60 kilometers per hour. Don't under estimate their size and their short stocky legs.

Bat

Bat exist all around the world. There are 1,100 species around the world. The bats are very in size. The smallest bats "Kitti's Hog-nosed Bat" are 1.3 inches in length and the weight 0.07 oz. And the giant "Giant golden-crowned flying-fox" once are 1.5 meter of the wing spread and weight up to 3 pounds.

Most of the bats are frugivores, but few of them are cornivorous. Frugivores - vegetarians. Frougivores usually located around fruit plantations. Cornivorous - meat eaters. Anything that's meat, they eat. :)

Giant Anaconda

Anacondas can be found in South America and North Africa. They usually stay in water, Nile and Amazon River. Giant Anacondas are found in South America the reach 20 feet in length and 250 pound in weight. Fully grown Anacondas can strike and kill a jaguar. It's for dinner :)
Green Anacondas are largest snakes in world.

Hippopotamus

Hippopotamus is third largest earth mammal. They weight in 1.5 to 2 tons. Hippopotamus are known for their big barrel shaped torso, short legs, hair less skin, big mouth and big teeth. Even thou Hippos are so big they could out run a human. There was a recording when Hippo was times for 30 mile range. Guess what?! Hippopotamus ran at a speed of 48 kilometers/hour. Imagine that! That's true that Hippopotamus have very short legs, but they run so fast. No wonder that hippos are called most vicious animals. They are also very territorial, but only in the water. May be because hippos are giving the birth under the water, may be this is the reason. And Hippopotamus have a gang of 5 to 30 members around. It's their little packs. they usually stay in the rivers or in the swamps. No wonder they look like pig, by the look of the body shape ;)
I have read that Hippopotamus in Greek means horse river. Hippo means horse and potamos means river.

Giraffe

Giraffe is the tallest animal. Giraffes are mammals. Males giraffes weight 2,600 lbs, but females are only 1,830 lbs. How crazy is that that males giraffes weight almost over a ton over female. And in height giraffes grow from 14ft to 17ft. The tallest giraffe that was ever put in records was 20 ft tall. The closest relative of giraffe is okapi. Giraffes are vegetarians, they are found in the areas of acacia. I bet Giraffes have very long and tough tong too. Because acacia is like a rose only it's a tree in all those spikes. But when there's no leaves around and only water. Giraffes will drink very large amounts of water to survive. Almost like camels do, but only camels can stay up for a long time with out water and food. And also the camels eat spikes. I don't know why is the closest relative to giraffe is okapi.
Giraffes have the amazing coloring of irregular patches of yellow to black fur separated by white, off-white, or dark yellowish brown background. Giraffes are amazing animals. What amazes me the most about giraffes is that their necks are so long. The coloring is beautiful, and they even have horns.

Pit Bull

Many people say that Pit Bulls are crazy. Very false. Why you might ask. It depends how you train them, depends on how you grow with them. When you get a dog, it's pert of you family. think of the dog like your kid or something. Because when you take care of them you are giving them love and you also get loved right back. You have to take care of you Pit, because if you don't then why get it. Why waist you money and time? think about it. Pit Bulls are great dog. They absolutely love kids and they love humans. To make sure that you dog is not aggressive take it at a young age around people so it get used to them. For example, in America most dog that I have met are very friendly. I also traveled to Europe and tell you what, dog over there are not friendly at all. They are like crazy maniac killing machines. They want to bite anything that around them. But I have managed to go around that, because when animal, any animal fears you, you already a winner. The animals automatically start obeying you. Let me get back to my story about a Pit Bulls. Pit Bulls are incredibly smart and very careful with people. For example, when I play around with my pup and when we play he like to chew on my fingers, very gently. I wanted to experience and one time I started to say when my Pit was chewing on my fingers that his hurting me. And I started to make sounds like his really hurting me. I took my hand out of pit's mouth and turned my back to him. Guess what? He started to cry on me. That big giant and all muscular creature (130 lbs) started to cry because I told him that he was hurting me. I always take him around people and around little kids and he loves to play with them. When he is playing with little kids he is afraid. Anybody could say that my Pit is a little wussy. Four of the kids were play with my Pit Bull and believe it or not he was scared to move. I guess he was scared that he would hurt them.
This is my little story about my Pit Bull and man's best friend.

Domestic Cat

The cats became domestic form the ancient Egypt. Back then people kept cats because they consider the cat as a protectors of home. Also they considered the cats as a war symbol, the lioness. One of the most known breeds that Egyptians had was Abyssinian.
Abyssinian cats have very presentable look. The cats have very long body in comparison to the other domestic cats. Abyssinian cats have a long necks, long tale, and legs. Also comparing Abyssinian cats to other domestic have very big ears. Their color is dark orange just like lions, kind of brownish color.

Also I would like to talk little pit about the Bengal. The Bengal is a breed of three generation of domestic felin and a Asian Leopard Cat. The have the same spotting. As you remember, the spots on the animals are just like the finger prints humans have. You be able to tell which one is which.
I have one and it's great. First when I got it, the cat was very wild and very energetic. It was hiding places and jumping on different things like it's hunting for prier.
Back then I was not much into cats, I was more of a dog lover. But the Bengals are so amazing, they are just like the dogs, but in the body of the cat. The Bengals are very smart. I was surprised when I was talking with my cat and it understood everything I was telling her. They are so smart, not like the most cats. Most cats are on their own. I mean they just do their own thing and when ever you want to teach them something you have to put a lot of time and effort into them. The Bengals are so different in this case. You tell them something once or may be twice and that's it, they know what's up.

African Pit Bull

Recently came across the African Pit Bull as they call the animal. The hyenas!!! Crazy stuff!!!
Suppose the African Government allows people to train and take care of the wild animals.
I think that's crazy. Hyenas are crazy, based of what been seen. As being shown on t.v. the hyenas are small and skinny. These pets are so big and fast and powerful. If they were up in the fight with the pit bull terrier, the pit would not stand a chance.
As it said before that African Gov. allows people to have the wild animals as pets it's insane. May be because they just stand on another level. They have a different life in Africa. A person from Africa once told me that people who have the animals like: Hyenas and Baboons are the mafia people in Africa. But who knows...

Lion

Lion - the king of the jungle. People call lions the kings of the jungle, is because the female does all the work. The lioness is the one who goes hunting, does all the hard work. The male, lion is sitting at home and waiting for dinner. May be that's why the male have the hairs around the hear to look good for their wife's. May be because the males live for about 8 years and females for 13. But both male and female can live up to over 20 years. The lions are biggest in the cat family after the tigers. Lion weight up to 550 pounds.

Tiger

Tigers come from the cat family. They have very unique coloring. The tigers are most recognizable from the cat fmily. They have dark orange color with the black stripes all over their body. Tigers have over 100 stripes. The stripes on the tiger are like the finger prints of the human. Each tiger has their own unique stripe paterns for whitch we can recognize them. Like most cat family member tigers have black spots on the back of their ears. These incredible animals are reaching up to 13 feet in length and 660 pounds in weight. The larger suspecie of tiger is the Siberian tiger.

Dog Family

The true dog family is called the "Canidae". The Canidae includes jackals, coyotes, wolves, and foxes.
40 to 50 million years ago the first Canidae family had arise. canidae divided into to three families which are

• Eocene
• Borophagie
• Caninae - canids: Jackals, domestic dogs, coyotes, foxes, and wolves

The only one family that has survived till today is Caninae. The other families gone instinct.
The Canids are found every where, in deserts, mountains, glass land, and forests. The size of the Fennec Fox is 24 cm in length. But the gray Wolf could be up to 2 meters long and weigh up to 80 kilograms.
When Canids are born they're eyes are closed and are opening only after a few weeks.
Dog is a man's best friend!

Elephant

Elephants are large earthly mammals of the Elephantidae family. Right now there are three families of the elephants: 1) Asian Elephant, known as Indian Elephant 2) African Bush Elephant 3) African forest Elephant. In the late 2,000 b.c. other species became extinct, last ice age. Back then there were Mammoths.

The female elephant having gestation period is 22 months. This is the longest of any land animal. At the birth the calf's weight usually 260 lbs. The animals usually live for 50 to 70 years. The record was found that the oldest elephant lived was 82 years young. In 1956 in Angola the largest elephant was shot, the weight was 26,000 lbs. It was the largest elephant recorded. But there are also small elephant which are the size of the pig. This are prehistoric species the lived on the island of Crete.
According to March 2007 estimate the were 500,000 to 700,000 individual in the African elephant population
Aristotle one said about elephants, "the beast which passeth all others in wit and mind". Elephant are not predators, we are the once who make them be that way.
